Please note that Steward is not considered to be a canon position at Fort Weyr. Steward is a hold-based position and usually only in holds large enough to require such a deputy to the Lord Holder or Holder.

The functions that a Steward performs in a Hold are performed by the Headwoman or Headman at a Weyr, though typically these positions are held by women.
